I NEED HELP OPENING A SHOP IN MICHIGAN

I have been tattooing in shops profesionaly for 13 years and wanted to open my own shop near my home but I am having alot of dificulty getting info of things like insurance needed, regulations, tax info for a sole propriater business, I need all the help I can get....mainly on the basics of opening a shop....other shops will NOT tell me ANYTHING here......I am just more competition here I guess ?? you can see some of my recent work at my webpage www.youbetithurtstattooco.50megs.com the pics arnt the best quality but these ar tattoos I have been doing at parties around the area......for friends and relitives.... thank you for listening..."DOC"

tattoos at parties? I don't know about that. Your web address is no good either, so I'm not sure what you work looks like. But I'll bet youv'e never worked in a shop ,if your tattooing at parties. And that might have something to do with the fact that no one else at the other tattoo shops are telling you how to open your own shop. If you came from somewhere(another shop), ask your mentor or previous shop owner you worked for. They should be able to tell you what you want to know.

When looking into opening a shop the best thing to do first is contact the chamber of commerce in the city you would like to open a shop in. They can answer most of your questions. Where abouts are you located? The reason why I am asking is my ex husband did all of my tattoos and let me with half done shit that I would like to have finished I am now a single mom of three children and cant afford to have them done. I also know alot of artists in the area and could help you with the information that you need. The industry is one of you help me I'll help you. Let me know if youd like the help.
