laser tattoo removal for a large cover up

2 messages · last activity 2/5/2012

I've got a full black and grey sleeve that I want removed. I got all the work done by the same artist over time,& some of the work is just really sloppy. I found a place which was willing to do removals for dirt cheap using a medlite laser. They told me that it'll take around 6 treatments to lighten everything up enough to go over. I met a woman the other week that had several sessions done on a color tattoo, then covered up but you could still see what was underneath. Is this a process thats worth going through? I mean I'll be putting a few grand into the removal, 6 sessions will take me about a year to complete. I'd especially like to hear information from the tattoo artists that've tattooed clients that went through removal beforehand. I'd like as much information about this as I can get. Thanks in advance!
