Tattoo Medical Supplies

I have a question. I work for a medical supply distributor. I sell to all medical facilities, but recently I started supplying tattoo shops with the medical supplies they use. I have been successful because I have the resources to save them money and sell the products much cheaper than they're used to. My question is, what do artists generally look for when it comes to the medical supplies they buy? Is it mostly price based? Brand based? We are soon going to be a distributor for all tattoo supplies as well and I'm exhausting all resources to learn the business on the artists end to provide the best service possible.
