White bumps underneath oldish tattoo

Okay heres the thing. I got a tattoo about 2ish years ago from a very high-rated places at Hilton Head beach in North Carolina. I had a mosquito bite or a pimple or something kinda on my tattoo (it's just lettering on my upper arm) probably 3 months ago, give or take a month. I picked at whatever that was cause it didn't go away. It was deep enough to go into some of the layers that ink was in but I washed it in the shower and stuff and didn't really mess with it after I saw the ink in it. Anyway, it healed and new skin formed over a small portion of it fading that part out and now there's small, tiny white bumps all underneath my skin of the tattoo. They're not itchy or anything, they're just kind of there but I'm nervous in case it's something I do need to worry about. They look like there may be something in them but I'm unsure. Also, they are mainly around that spot where my mosquito bite was. Help :(
