Winter Skin Dryness and Tattoos

Hey Everyone, I'm going to get a tattoo on my left arm in a few weeks, but am a bit concerned about the patches of dry skin that I get during the winter time. As of lately, I've been moisturizing every morning and every night and haven't experienced it like I usually would - it's virtually non-existent to be honest. Plus I used to NEVER moisturize my skin when it happened. Could this potentially cause issues when I get my tattoo done? It's going to be above my elbow and up to my shoulder. I may turn it into a half sleeve. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
